Synopsis
For many years telemarking has been valued as a winter sport for skiers who got stuck in the past - until now, where free heel skiers carve the sharpest turns in the snow. This book is dedicated to teach beginners the telemark technique in four steps of exercises. Experienced telemark freaks get tips on how to improve their skills in the moguls, in carving, racing and short turning. This book also gives insight into the history of telemark skiing, an overview of the present equipment and includes a "tele-guide", which outlines the best telemark resorts.

About the Author
Patrick Droste, was born in 1964, is a qualified sports instructor and a qualified telemark instructor of the DSV (German Ski Association). Ralf Strotmann, was born in 1963, works as a sports and mathematics teacher at a high school in Germany. Both authors have competed as members of the master class in national and international competitions and are leaders of the resort "Nordic skiing" at the SPORTS association for ski and sports instructors. Together they have already published two books about telemark skiing.
