Synopsis
Nardini's and the old Moorings building are two of Largs instantly-recognisable landmarks, but Bob and Maureen McSherry have included many more unusual views of the town too. A photograph of the naval destroyer that ran aground in March 1914 is included as is a rather sad picture of a dancing bear, not attracting many onlookers on a rainy day. Pictures of the 1910 floods show the makeshift log bridge that temporarily replaced the permanent structure over the Gogo Water, and a very waterlogged Main Street. Many other locations are featured too.
