A Commentary on the Gospel of MARK, Simple & Sublime - Softcover

9781840301977: A Commentary on the Gospel of MARK, Simple & Sublime

Synopsis

Tom Glover's highly commendable book on Mark is a rare example of sound biblical exposition combined with down-to-earth application. With characteristic flair and pace, the writer unpacks many priceless lessons from this fast moving gospel narrative. Two words spring to mind enjoyable and enriching! Dr Sam Gordon, Director of Ministries, The Messianic Testimony. What I like most is the vivid way in which the author tells many of the stories, making the reader feel that he or she is right there in the situation. His exposition of the gospel stories is an important way of communicating the gospel for today s people, who are very much story orientated. The reader will also find this book very challenging. Rev Dr Geoffrey Grogan, Principal Emeritus of the International Christian College, Glasgow.
