About the Author

Ian Woolley is a poet, writer, and author of the new book Rod The Cod and other Fishy Tales. Having spent all his childhood in Wales, Ian's storytelling and vivid imagination started when as a boy he'd be left to keep his classmates amused whilst the teacher popped out. He moved to Hampshire forty years ago as a budding train driver and four years later his ambition was realised. A love of music instilled in him from an early age by his family was where his heart truly lay. As a singer, DJ, compere and quiz host, he more recently began interviewing and writing about people in the music industry for various publications. He has three children and two grandchildren.
