Synopsis
A charming and entertaining true story starting in 1981 when Pamela B. Murray-Rham became the adopted mother to a two-day old cygnet.
Even though she was used to hand rearing and nursing wildlife within a small semi-detached house in Yeovil, neither she nor the rest of the family knew what adventures would await them when adopting a cygnet. Gale the swan immediately imprinted on Pamela and lived indoors. Pamela kept a daily diary of Gale's progress, from learning how to feed her, her growth rate, her antics, the process of teaching her how to fly at the reservoir and her trips to the supermarket in the shopping trolley. With the addition of Sydney, a fully grown male swan who also joined the family and the success in releasing them both to a stately home... About the Author
Pamela B. Murray-Rham now lives near Brecon Wales with her four Siamese cats and one feral cat who has moved in. She has just had her 89th birthday and still will occasionally take on a rescue bird or mouse if in need. She loves watching wild life programmes and when able will sew nut bags for the local pet store.
