About the Authors

Yuri Bobbert is a business scientist. He is Chief Security Officer at ON2IT, a global cybersecurity player and academic director / professor at Antwerp Management School (AMS). Bobbert holds a double PhD from both the University of Antwerp and Radboud University. He is specialized in establishing risk, security, and compliance functions within a wide variety of organizations. He advised +300 companies. Bobbert served for 10 years as CEO of B-ABLE and 6 years as CRO/CSO of UWV and NN Group. At NN Group he led the merge with Delta Lloyd. Bobbert published +100 papers, books, and blogs.

Maria Chtepen is a security practitioner with a strong background in Enterprise Architecture. Over 15 years of experience within different industries working across business and technology teams. Building collaboration and communities across varying organizational domains to achieve the optimal synergies between technology and company goals and objectives. Maria has a strong academic background and is an author of various publications in international journals and conference proceedings.

Tapan Kumar comes from India and holds a bachelor’s degree in information technology from renowned university in India and did his masters from Antwerp management school in Enterprise It Architecture (2018-2020). He has worked with few of the biggest IT organizations like IBM, Cognizant and Tata Consultancy Services in his 15-year career. With his experience and specialization within Banking and Financial domain he has always been associated with a consultancy organization that worked in a distributed model, initially with the waterfall model in lately with the agile model. Tapan started his career as a mainframe engineer and gradually found interest in the field of architect and currently he the Solution/Application architect within a leading bank in The Netherlands in the domain of Payments and Cards.

Yves Vanderbeken helps clients introducing new business models based on adoption of digital strategies and technologies. He works as country CTO in Belgium for a global IT Services company. Yves manages the development of strategic Business – IT roadmaps with client leadership, focusing on the full spectrum of IT (Information, Applications, and Infrastructure). With over 25 years of experience in IT, Yves combines extensive cross industry expertise from government, finance, and manufacturing. Yves holds 2 MBA degrees from Antwerp Management School. His book chapters are based on a combination of academic research and working at some of the referenced agencies.

Dennis Verslegers is a seasoned IT Security Expert with over 20 years of experience in a wide variety of roles. His passion is to bring Business and IT together on Cyber Security and help them step up and get security right. Being active as a Strategic Advisor Application Security at a global security provider, he engages in risk management and secure development advisory services for several international organizations and institutions. Dennis holds an MSc degree from Antwerp Management School and multiple professional certifications. He loves to actively share his knowledge as an ISACA trainer and guest lecturer at Antwerp Management School.
