Synopsis
Bertl, whose escape from the Nationalsozialisten spanned three continents, survives the Holocaust. Adele, however, who managed to flee to France, is eventually murdered in Auschwitz, only 17 years old. This illustrated book is based on the books by Ruth Kaufmann Journey into the Unknown, Bertl`s Diary and In the Web of the Antspider, Adele`s Diary and tells the story of the Holocaust through the eyes of Bertl and Adele.
