British Artist Beryl Cook produced vivid oil paintings, which immediately became popular where she lived in Plymouth and let her to exhibit in London galleries continuously for thirty-two years. Cook painted with passion, putting her heart and soul into every piece and in doing so captured a completely original style that was instantly recognisable. Her flamboyant and extrovert characters encompass the absurdities of human behaviour with warmth and humour.
