The Student's Book Pack focuses on thorough preparation for the Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) exam. The end of unit Review sections and the practice exam papers develop exam confidence. An access code to Macmillan Practice Online (MPO) provides students with extra material, and an eBook version of the Student's Book is also included.

About the Author
Roy Norris started his teaching career in 1984 in Selby, North Yorkshire, where he taught French and German in a comprehensive school for five years. At the end of the eighties he moved to Madrid and a career in ELT. Most of his time there has been spent working with International House, as teacher, teacher-trainer and at one point Cambridge Examinations Co-ordinator. Roy has written Ready for FCE (2001),Ready for CAE (2004) and Straightforward Advanced (2008), and co-written Direct to FCE (2011). Amanda French went to Greece and began her career in English language teaching. She started off as the dictation teacher for a class of eight-year-olds and left three years later - with the DTEFLA (Diploma in Teaching English as a Foreign Language to Adults). Amanda is a CELTA assessor and has written CAE, BEC and IELTS papers for Cambridge ESOL. She also wrote CAE Testbuilder and contributed to the Ready for CAE Workbook and KET Testbuilder.
