Paul Cilia La Corte (MBACP) is an integrative counsellor who holds a Masters in Refugee Care from the University of Essex. Paul is a senior therapist at Refugee Council and coordinates the men's therapeutic services. Over the last 5 years Paul has been working closely with Angelina to develop a specialised therapeutic framework that is culturally competent. This emphasises a psychosocial approach that is tailored to respond to the multiple and complex needs of asylum seekers and refugees.
Angelina Jalonen (MBACP) is an integrative counsellor and therapeutic supervisor who holds a Masters in Refugee Care from the University of Essex. Angelina has worked directly with asylum seekers and refugees for over 16 years, advocating and supporting them to navigate the complex asylum system in the UK. She has managed the Therapeutic Services at Refugee Council for over 5 years, where she has successfully designed various psychosocial programmes to respond to their needs.
