Synopsis
What is it about boxing that charms and bewitches us? John Wight looks for the answer as he delves into the world of beautiful brutality. Through Wight's compelling memoirs we encounter some of modern boxing's most fascinating figures, among them Freddie Roach, Manny Pacquiao, James Toney and Scotland's super-lightweight world titlist Josh Taylor. About the Author
John Wight is a freelance writer and journalist whose work straddles politics, culture and sport, specifically the sport of boxing. He has written for the <I>Guardian, Independent, </I>the <I>Scottish Daily Record</I>, the Huffington Post and RT among other publications. He spent five years in Hollywood working as a screenwriter.
