Synopsis
Capturing the landscape on paper requires the artist to look - to look deep into the distance and deep into the soul. This practical book celebrates the genre of landscape painting - the wonder of discovering the extraordinary in the everyday scene. About the Author
Philip Tyler is a practising artist, who teaches at the University of Brighton and whose work is sold by Northcote Contemporary Art, London, The Harbour Gallery, Portscatho, and Zimmer Stewart Gallery, Arundel. In recent years, he has focused on painting his local landscapes of West Sussex and has been fascinated by the emotional expression it has aroused in him. He has also written Drawing and Painting the Nude - a course of 50 lessons for Crowood.
