Weave This is a truly stylish introduction to weaving. Using a range of colourways, from vibrant and bold neons to Navajo-inspired prints, Francesca Kletz and Brooke Dennis teach you a whole host of loom weaving techniques.
The book focuses on handheld tapestry looms, which can be made out of anything from an old wooden frame, to sticks and cardboard so simple to make yourself. Chapters cover how to warp (prepare your loom), create tassels, macramé, bubbling, basket weave and more.
The projects are more contemporary than in your average craft book you ll learn how to make eclectic tapestry wall hangings, lampshades, bags, baskets, frames, rugs, charms and accessories. Decorate your home with a Mondrian-inspired wall hanging or channel the 80s with a Space Invaders design.
All the designs can be customised so once you've learned the basics, you can stamp your own personality and style on them all.

About the Author
Francesca Kletz and Brooke Dennis met whilst teaching craft classes. After Francesca visited Japan and took a class at a communal weaving studio in Tokyo, they noticed a gap in the UK market and at the start of 2017 they opened their first pop-up weaving studio, The London Loom.
