Synopsis

The Compass Dances is a collection of poems written from 1955 to 2015; the work of almost a lifetime. About the Author

Michael Pickering was born in England in 1935. He attended the universities of Oxford, Birmingham, Manchester, Toronto and Lancaster. As linguist and teacher, he worked in England, Italy and Finland. Besides writing poetry and fiction, and researching language, he draws and paints.
