ADVANCED VIBRATION CONTROLLING TECHNIQUES provides thorough knowledge of Energy Based Analytically Methods (EBAM) and Finite Element Methods (FEM). Finite element analysis was done on different beams with different layer damping treatments and the results are obtained by simulation in MATLAB.
