My work is an exploration of shape, line and colour. I enjoy interpreting traditional local scenes in a fresh and contemporary manner, ultimately, encouraging people to rediscover their familiar environments.

About the Author

Jamie was born in 1976 and currently lives in Lymm, Cheshire after graduating with a fine art degree from Loughborough University s School of Art and Design (LUSAD) in 2008. He has visited more than 100 different clubs to create his iconic drawings which he initially sold as framed prints to fans, players and managers. "I am as inspired by the shapes of a football ground as those of a cathedral. By manipulating a simple drawing with colour and shape I try to celebrate both subjects with exciting effect." Now finally all the drawings have been compiled in Drawing the 92 which includes stadium descriptions as well as an explanation from Jamie as to how the pictures were drawn.
