Dr. Atul Rawal is a professor in the Finance and Accounting area at the Garware Institute of Career Education & Development (Autonomous Department of University of Mumbai). He has a doctorate in management with a Finance specialization from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai (JBIMS). His research interests include capital markets, corporate finance, financial reporting, investments and corporate governance. His scholarly work has been published in leading journals. Dr. Rawal has contributed to curriculum development of skill based education courses, guided sstudents at various capacities, and delivered expert sessions in faculty development programs. At University of Mumbai, Dr. Atul Rawal teaches courses on Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, Financial Markets, Investment and portfolio management, Firm valuation and Financial Reporting, Strategic Cost Management, and Corporate Finance. At University of Mumbai, Dr. Atul Rawal created study materials for the Center for Distance and Open Education for the course of Masters of Management Studies for the subjects like Cost and Management Accounting, Derivatives & Risk Management, Financial Markets & Institutions and for Masters of Commerce – Human Resource Accounting.
