Synopsis

Hamish Cameron is an unlikely candidate for a private investigator. A retired former judge, he has decided to spend the rest of his days in an upscale retirement residence in Ashcroft-by-the-Sea, Nova Scotia. But troubling events lead him to investigate what is going on there, with the help of a volunteer social worker, Sean Carroll.
