Synopsis
The Cloud Crew is a delightful and imaginative children's picture book that takes young readers on a whimsical journey through the skies above western Queensland, Australia. Bursting with curiosity and wonder, three adventurous clouds-Charlotte, Cyrus, and Cooper-set off on an unforgettable voyage from Moreton Bay across the mountains known as the Great Dividing Range at Toowoomba, eager to discover what lies beyond the mountains.
As they drift over rolling hills and sun-drenched plains, the cloud trio witnesses a vibrant patchwork of life below. They soar past buzzing airplanes and helicopters near the Australian Army Aviation Museum, peer down at bustling green cities, and marvel at the farmers and farmhands working tirelessly on the land. Each new scene reveals a piece of Australia's unique landscape and rural lifestyle, offering children a window into farming communities and the natural beauty of the region.
Their journey ends in the charming township of Moonie, a quiet place known for its open fields, hard-working locals, and its little-known oil field. Here, Charlotte, Cyrus, and Cooper finally rest, feeling connected to the land and the people they've watched from above.

About the Authors
Joseph Rees enjoys writing children's picture books with the topics based on the clouds in the sky and their interaction with the humans below. The topics explore the natural environment along with history and geography which assist in children learning of other places in the world
Mason is an illustrator with a flair for visual storytelling. He enjoys creating characters and thrilled to bring the stories to life through his creative skills.
