About the Author

Julia Watkins is a mother and maker who creates and writes from her home in Chicago. She runs the fast-growing instagram account @simply.living.well, which grew 100,000 followers in its first year, and chronicles Julia's experiences living simply, slowly, and naturally while striving for zero-waste. A conservation specialist, she co-runs a non-profit, Lookfar Conservation, that helps conserve and restore biodiverse land in Africa and Latin America.
