About the Author

Charlotte R Faulconbridge is a prize-winning published poet, author, and TEDx performer. She lives with her 2 dogs, 4 cats, and 3 owls. As well as being autistic, she suffers from high functioning anxiety, Dyspraxia, Sensory Processing Disorder, Myalgic Encephalomyelitis, and a worsening cat addiction... After being diagnosed with a debilitating chronic illness in her early teens, Charlotte found peace within writing; processing her trauma and discovering strength and power in her pain has become the lifeblood of her work. Charlotte has already made an impression on the poetry scene as a newcomer with her quirky and often heartbreakingly raw performances. She advocates for inclusion within the poetry community, often performing her poems in BSL and SSE.
