Trying to make up for ten years spent trapped in the Twelfth Realm, she must learn on the fly, and stay under the radar of those who would destroy everything about World Walking they can find.Still a novice at World Walking, Nora must rely on her cantankerous cousin, Cameron, to avoid the pitfalls that surround them. Joined by a street-wise friend she abandoned six years before and the overly inquisitive daughter of her father’s adversary, the cousins set off into a world unlike any they have ever known. As they journey deeper into the Thirty-Ninth Realm in pursuit of Nora’s grandmother, they must rely on their wits, questionable alliances, and a fair amount of luck to survive.
