In the mid-1990s, Phil Schneider helped create the Internet Wrestling Community as part of the legendary Death Valley Driver Playboys. Their enthusiasm and love for the sport was infectious. Soon enough, disciples were disrupting the narrative status quo at message boards and blogs all over the web. It was a time of discovery, with little seen underground groups suddenly coming to the attention of thousands.

Due to popular demand, the Way of the Blade series returns, focused on the goriest, gruesomest mainstream wrestling promotion in the sport's history—All Elite Wrestling.
Helmed by Tony Khan, once a proud reader of the Death Valley Driver zine, the promotion has returned wrestling to its claret-colored past.
