About the Authors

I was born and raised in Falmouth, MA., a small town on Cape Cod. I left the Cape to attend the University of Connecticut and eventually moved to Connecticut to work and raise my family. I'm the mother of three and step mother of two other children and have 12 grandchildren. (note that all 12 grandchildren's names appear in the book.) My second husband (married 36 years) and I retired in Maine for 10 years before moving to Little River, SC. I was a Vice President heading a retail lending division of a small savings bank before I retired.

My work consist a lot of concept art such as character designs, backgrounds, and structures. Throughout my design career, I have worked with many clients ranging from independent video games, comic books, book designs, storyboards, and so forth.
