Without guard rails, navigating through the twists and turns on life’s road is dangerous. Guard rails are necessary to help us successfully reach our destination in life. We disqualify ourselves from leadership when we overstep the boundaries that God has set in place. Proper guard rails keep us within those boundaries. We need to be healthy in all areas of life and benefit from a wholistic approach of having the proper guard rails in place.
The authors of this book are Directors of church networks who have a firsthand perspective of the daily issues facing Christian leaders. At the time of this writing, they represent approximately 1,300 churches and many hundreds of years of combined ministry experience. Their goal is to provide specific guard rails for anyone in spiritual leadership positions.
