About the Author

Diane Engle has a Masters Degree in Music Education and a Kodály Educator Certification from McNeese State University. She taught music and choir for 31 years in public schools in Texas and Louisiana. Diane currently teaches Pedagogy and Folk Song Research and Analysis at university summer courses to music teachers.Diane has operated a private piano studio for 11 years, teaching in small groups for beginners and also one-on-one. The PLAY AND PLAY Piano Book for Beginners is used exclusively in her studio for young beginners.
