About the Author

Stephanie is an engineer on a mission to help other female engineers create extraordinary lives and careers. She believes that all women have the power to create their own destiny by knowing themselves and using their individual strengths to achieve career and life success. Her book, She Engineers, was written as a career guide for those women who dare to be different.

Stephanie is a licensed professional engineer with 15 years experience in the construction industry where she has designed structures for buildings in the healthcare, retail, and higher education sectors. She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in architectural engineering. She has extensive experience as a project manager, where she has learned the critical importance of mastering communication skills and collaboration. She is also the current chair of the Structural Engineering Institute’s Business Practices committee.
