About the Author

Now 77 years of age grew up in Louisiana, attended LSU, completed 5 years of Air Force ROTC and worked at Cape Kennedy Air force Station (now back to Cape Canaveral) in the early 60's. Moved to Johnson Space Center in 1968 and worked in Mission Control operations as a simulation person. Converted to full time simulation software engineer until retirement in 2007. Concurrently with NASA Mission Control Division, served 32 years as a volunteer Licensed Paramedic with a local area EMS on an ambulance.
