The usual buzz of Groundhog Day in Calcoona County, USA, was overshadowed by the drama that befell the hapless Willie Pheasant. Surrounded by the care and concern of many forest friends including Peter Possum, Sylvester Squirrel and Donny Woodpecker, Willie found solace while suffering from a very trying circumstance. Come hear this "Tale of a Tail" written by Ruth Grove Prostor, a devout nature lover and protector.

Ruth Grove Prostor and her husband Frank moved to a farm in northeastern Ohio in the mid 1940's and spent the rest of their lives there surrounded by many acres of woods and farmland. Ruth especially spent many hours walking in the woods and learning about all of the flora and fauna. Her love of nature is certainly evident in this little "tale of a tail."
