About the Author

Renganathan Sekar (called Renga by colleagues) is a research engineer at a South Korean spinoff in Jinju, South Korea where he applies nonlinear finite element methods to simulate and optimize metal forming processes. He has a Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Computer Aided Conception and Production in Mechanical Engineering from the RWTH Aachen University, Germany and a Bachelor’s degree (B.E.) in Mechanical engineering from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, India. The core idea of this book was inspired when his blog readers (https://caendkoelsch.wordpress.com/) wanted to have Python scripting techniques explained to them in simple terms, an art in itself, which Renga has been practicing over the years in the field of finite element methods (FEM).
