The apostle Peter writes: “But grow in GRACE and in the KNOWLEDGE of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18).” It is possible to grow “in grace” but not “in knowledge” and it is possible to grow “in knowledge” and not grow “in grace”. Both grace and knowledge are needed, not one without the other. Both are needed for balance and both in balance. I came into Grace many, many years ago, but because of a lack of knowledge, loved a kind of ’yo-yo’ Christian experience. As I grew in both grace and knowledge, the Christian life became much more stabilized. This testimonial is one of those areas in the Word of God, in the area of knowledge that brought further grace and stability into my life.My prayer is that these “Daily Devotions" or "Ministrations” will help true believers in their own putting into practise the self-imposed disciplines.
