About the Author

Fran Kelso has been an Alaskan resident since 1974. During those years, she has published 4 books in addition to this one: "Whistlestops and Windows to your Soul," "Plant Lore of an Alaskan Island," first and second edition, and "Alaskan Attitudes." This latter book is available through Amazon. Her love of cats has lasted a lifetime, with Carlos being the last and best. In this book the reader will learn a great deal about the habits and make-up of felines. The language is simple and the illustrations and pictures add charm to an already endearing story. After living for 42 years in the Kodiak area, Fran moved to Gustavus, AK in 2011, and has been here ever since.
