This is the 15th book in the series of stories set in the period between 1954 to 1998. The tales are loosely based on a real life character PC John Morris. In the 1950’s was was known to the residents on his patch as “Big Ears”. Then he was a Local Community Police Officer working out of a Police House in Friar Park. He was larger than life character & someone that we all respected, they didn’t call him Big Ears for nothing. Later on in his career he risers through the police ranks & ends his police career at the Commissioner at New Scotland Yard. ~He retires from the Metropolitan Police Force in 1989; he then becomes a Private Eye. ~In 1998 Professor Sir. John Morris is a Professor at the Cambridge Institute of Criminology.
