Synopsis

Private investigator mysteries don’t usually come with movie stars, million-dollar egos, and hurricanes—but in Cabo San Lucas, chaos comes in waves.

When tabloid trainwreck and fading actress Rio LeDoux lands in Cabo to shoot a make-or-break blockbuster, she brings with her a storm of scandal, substance abuse, and bad decisions. Her slimy manager hires PI Ethan Cruickshank to keep her out of the headlines and out of trouble—a glorified babysitting gig Ethan only accepts because the money’s good and the job seems simple.

It isn’t.

As Rio spirals and tempers flare on set, one person goes missing. Then another. What started as a cushy gig turns into a full-blown investigation, one with shadows stretching far beyond the film set and secrets buried deeper than the beachfront villas.
Now, with a Category 5 hurricane bearing down on the Baja Peninsula, the bodies—and the stakes—are piling up fast. And in a town that thrives on illusion, Ethan must race to separate truth from fiction before everything is washed away.
Hard-boiled mystery meets disaster noir in a thriller packed with ego, excess, and explosive secrets. Ethan Cruickshank may be battered, bruised, and barely hanging on—but he’s the only thing standing between a killer and the perfect cover-up.

Can Ethan solve the case before the storm hits? Or will Cabo take him down for good this time? Order your copy now and find out.
