Synopsis
在过去COVID-19新冠肺炎的疫情期间,作者宅家三年,基本没有走出过特拉华州的纽瓦克市,她只是一个只有一所大学的小城。
由于网络的发达,即使呆在家里也能了解世界上的各种事情。只是这个瘟疫的时间太长了,有很多人早已失去了耐心。在网上可以看到,已经有不少人早已回到了往常的生活,照样游遍世界。他们贴出来的都是世界各地的各种山山水水、各种气势宏伟的宏观照片,实实的美不胜收。
作者是一个保守的人,在过去三年时间里,作者只宅在家中,照的所有照片都是微观的。照遍了我家周围的每一个角落,每一颗青草,每一片叶子。作者把自己的所有照片都放大到手机的最大屏,总是想从细节里发现点什么新玩意儿,然后就是憋不住地把她们都写下。
作者没有远去,没有去山边,也没有去河畔。就在自己家屋里和屋外的周围转悠,直至和飞来的每只鸟都熟悉,和飞走的每只鸟都说声再见!
本诗词集就是集作者在过去的疫情三年内宅家所见所闻所感后所写的诗和词,有古体也有自由体。希望将来能"无须老来一壶酒,慢读此书慰风尘"。

About the Author
作者许秋雨,本名为夏香根, 英文名为Xiang-Gen Xia,1963年2月出生于南京高淳,现为美国特拉华大学(University of Delaware) 电子与计算机工程系冠名教授 (Named Professor)。他分别于1983年,1986年,和1992年获得南京师范大学,南开大学,和南加州大学数学学士,数学硕士,和电子工程博士学位。他获得1997年美国国家基金委NSF CAREER奖,1998年美国海军研究署ONR YIP奖,2001年中国国家自然科学基金委海外杰出青年基金,韩国World Class University (WCU) 讲座教授,清华大学电子系Kumar讲座教授团教授,和中国教育部长江学者讲座教授。他已发表470余篇专业学术期刊论文,出版专著《Modulated Coding for Intersymbol Interference Channels》,CRC Press, 2000, 以共同作者出版专著《Array Beamforming Enabled Wireless Communications》, CRC Press, 2023。他的业余爱好为写诗词和散文。他是IEEE Fellow。
