Synopsis
轉眼間,信主二十九個春秋過去了。對於一個有限的人生,二十九個春秋實為不短的日子。但在兩千多年基督教信仰史的長河中它卻是短暫的瞬息。就像驅車奔馳在高速公路所看到的掠影一樣,即便是一瞬間、一霎那,那些盡收眼底的人物、景象,有的會刻骨銘心、終生難忘。時間、歷史的長河就是由這無數短暫的瞬間、眨眼的霎那連接而成。絢麗多彩的全景是由這無數一閃而過的掠影繪製組合。
在信主二十九個寒暑春秋里,作者遇到了很多為神國侍奉的僕人。他們中有不善言語的,做事說話令人費解的,含辛茹苦、忍辱負重的,不由自主、身不由己的,身有殘疾的,也有英年早逝的。但在侍奉中,不善言語的,卻能見證出費盡口舌也講不清的信仰、福音和《聖經》。英年早逝的,在她短暫的一生裡迸發出永恆的生命火花。

About the Author
Quan (John) Zhang received his BA in English in China in 1983, his MA in American Literature from the University of Keele in England in 1985 and his Ph.D in American Studies from the University of Maryland at College Park in 1993. He pursued his writing while working at the University of Washington Law Library and continues to write in his retirement.
