这是三年前美中作协创建网站时的第一段文字,三年后,网站上已经有三十个“个人专栏”,收录了三百多万字的文学作品。在此期间,作协获得了美国联邦政府批准的503(c)3的非营利组织的免税资格,成为加州政府批准注册的文学机构,也成为“世界华文文学联盟”的成员。网站先后开辟了九个栏目,与全球十几个国家的文学团体互动,为作协出版的《心旅——美国中文作家协会作品集萃一》一书提供了优秀的作品。本书收录了31位作协成员的作品,有小说、诗歌、散文、随笔、戏剧、报告文学和论说文七种文体,共30万字。
