About the Authors

William T. Hey grew up between the small towns of Robeline and Marthaville, Louisiana and Puddin': The Chocolate Lab is his first children's book. He has also written a true story about his high school basketball team titled The Hawks Last Flight: Our Quest for a Championship, a fiction novel titled Death of College Life, four poetry books and a wellness textbook. He is a university professor and when not teaching, researching or writing he enjoys a variety of outdoor activities.

Rebekah Long is from Calhoun, Louisiana and recently graduated from the University of Louisiana Monroe with a BS in Exercise Science Pre-Physical Therapy. She will continue her goal of becoming a Physical Therapist by beginning the pursuit of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in the near future. In her spare time, she enjoys drawing and spending time with family and friends.
