Synopsis
While playing on a frozen lake together, four young friends plummet through the ice and drown in the cold depths below. They awaken to find themselves in a strange new reality; their bodies transformed and capable of wielding unique mystical abilities.
The children navigate extraordinary landscapes and meet outlandish creatures, while desperately searching for a way back home. But dark malevolent forces plot to ensnare them; hunting the children for a precious treasure one of them unknowingly possesses.
The group must band together to embark on an odyssey full of spectacular wonders and menacing dangers if they ever hope to see Earth again...

About the Author
Roy Klabin is an author of immersive sci-fi and epic fantasy novels. He previously worked as a documentary filmmaker and journalist, looking for untold stories in unique environments all around the world.
Roy's films have spanned numerous topics, including the lives of rangers in Mozambique who protect elephants against violent poaching cartels, Israeli teenagers preparing to face their compulsory military service, and even the secretive operations of drug dealers in New York City's criminal underground. Roy is a graduate of the Columbia University School of Journalism. He has worked for Vice News, the BBC, and the D.N.C., and his articles have been featured in a variety of publications, including The Atlantic.
Roy currently lives in Brooklyn with his wife, Benedicte. When he isn't writing, he enjoys gardening, hosting dinner parties, exploring the city's museums, and brewing the perfect cup of tea.
