Pauline's writing developed organically; it wasn't something she had planned. " I have always loved reading books. Books have been a great support for me throughout my life. They have travelled everywhere with me. As a youngster, my family lived overseas. My Grandmother used to send, from the UK, rolled-up comics every week. It was the highlight of the week! We lived in Kuala Lumpur at the time. Consequently, Desperate Dan, Beryl The Peril and Denis The Menace have remained some of my favourite characters."I enjoy writing for children and will continue to do so.I write from my old desk in my summer/ winter house in my garden in East Devon UK.
