Synopsis
Emma gets a bigger bike and can't wait to ride it, but when she falls off she's too scared to try it anymore. When her best friend, Izzie, comes over for a bike ride, Emma uses her old bike. Emma needs to practice on her new big bike and gain confidence to ride again--even if it is scary. Emma is Deaf and often uses sign language to communicate, and this early chapter book includes an ASL fingerspelling chart and a sign language guide.

About the Authors
Christy L. Reid loves writing the Emma Every Day series, which she started in 2019. Deaf-blind since childhood, Christy received a Cochlear Implant (CI) as an adult to help her hear and uses American Sign Language (ASL) to communicate. She and her husband have three sons, who are all adults now. Christy, her husband, their middle son (who is also deaf-blind), and Ally, their cattle dog, recently moved to New York.
Elena Aiello is an illustrator and character designer. After graduating as a marketing specialist, she decided to study art direction and CGI. Doing so, she discovered a passion for illustration and conceptual art. She works as a freelancer for various magazines and publishers. Elena loves video games and sushi and lives with her husband and her little pug, Gordon, in Milan, Italy.
