Synopsis
If we are looking for a reason to prove why we exist, if we are looking for a real purpose in our lives, maybe we should ask God to, "Please, use us in some way to be of a help to those in need." Could it be that, as people lift their discouraged voices to God to send someone to help them, that God is hearing their prayers, answering them, and sending you, to be used by God to meet their financial needs? We each have a purpose in life. This could be yours!
Many Christians really do want their lives to bring glory to God before they depart this world and go to heaven. They are very grateful for all that God has given to them. They want their very short journey in this world to count for God, to glorify God, and be of benefit to others. The words of missionary Jim Elliott rings loud and true in their hearts when he said, "He is no fool to give what he cannot keep in order to gain what he cannot lose." Their daily prayer to God is that He would use their lives, in some way, to bring glory to Himself and benefit to those in great need. Maybe their banner verse comes from Matthew 5:16 which says, "Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your father in heaven."

About the Author
He is a retired pastor who ministered in Missouri, Kansas, and Arkansas for more than twenty-four years. He possesses three degrees from college and seminary including a Master of Divinity Degree. His passion is reading the Bible, which he has read from Genesis through Revelation, in its entirety, more than one hundred times including the memorizing of thirteen books of the New Testament. He is known to his readers as the creator of fictional characters named after various Biblical virtues such as "Patience", "Purity", "Kindness", "Courage" and numerous others who are all brought to life and live in his Land of the God-created heart book series.
