Pastor Larry Kessler began ministry as a lay leader in his local church and has served as a pastor for 31 years. In 1993, he went to Russia and had an encounter with God, culminating in serving that nation for the next 30 years. He and wife, Mary, were invited to come and serve with the Russian Church of Christians of Evangelical Faith, led by Bishop Edward Grabavenko. They traveled over much of Russia, teaching on discipleship, church planting and evangelism. He has mentored many young pastors through training schools, developing lasting relationships with them. He was honored with the I.E. Voronaev Medal for outstanding service to the Churches of Russia. He also serves with Go Time Ministries, assisting a network of churches in Peru through discipleship training. His lifelong motto: If you have the "want to", God will surely position you in His plan. This book is to assist believers to maturity in Christ. I have taught many young Christians in Russia. . I have had the opportunity to serve the needs of diverse congregations. One common theme in many of these wonderful believers is a wrong impression of our Heavenly Father. Many are hindered in their ability to walk in God's love, especially their openness to receiving His love because of past relational issues with parents in their childhood. The Word of God through the Holy Spirit helps heal our wounded hearts and renew our minds. We are set free to become the real person God intends for us to be, fulfilling our purpose in life and experiencing fulfillment on a radically new level. May your understanding of the heart of our Heavenly Father be quickened, revealing your purpose in creation and fulfillment through a personal relationship with Him.
