Synopsis

Revelation 2:20 instructs us not to tolerate the spirit of Jezebel in the house of God, and while pastors would hopefully discern this intruder, many do not. If this is the case, getting rid of this evil spirit quietly and effectively is not always easy. With profound truth from God's Word, With Your Whole Heart: The Surprising Solution to Conquering the Spirit of Jezebel brings to light powerful wisdom for removing the spirit of Jezebel from your church, community, or Christian circle. In With Your Whole Heart, author Harriet McGowan explores how God desires to use you to eradicate the Jezebel spirit in order to set believers free from the chains of the enemy. More importantly, McGowan explains how loving God with your whole heart and trusting in Him is what makes you capable of being God's weapon against the evils of this world. Although many authors discuss how to recognize the Jezebel spirit and a possible success story or two, most never explain how we, as believers, can overcome this spirit. Thirty-five years ago, the Lord began teaching McGowan this secret and drawing her closer to His divine truth-the truth she shares with you through these pages. This powerful work reveals how you can not only learn to tread upon this demon, but also partake in incredible growth in your relationship with Christ as He shapes you into a closer image of Himself, bringing about character traits you may have considered unobtainable. McGowan's Scripture-based teaching will inspire you to trust God in your situation and follow His lead explicitly as you face the Jezebel spirit in your midst. As you begin to acquire the victory over this evil spirit, you will realize this victory is simply a by-product of learning to love the Lord with your whole heart. Harriet McGowan is a retired educator, who still enjoys teaching in a private learning center and in a Children's Church where she has attended for thirty-two years. She is also an experienced intercessor and her first book was entitled Jezebel in Our Midst.
