ARTHUR RANSOM (1884-1967) an English writer, who, before becoming a beloved author and illustrator of children's books, worked as a journalist and established close connections with the leaders of the Bolshevik revolution. While he was suspected of spying for the Russians, he also provided information to the Britain's Secret Intelligence Service.
