About the Authors

Rebekah Manley holds her Master of Fine Arts in Children's Literature from Hollins University and feels like she's earned her MFA in dating. She lives in Austin, TX and is fueled by swimming, queso and good conversation. Rebekah runs the Texas Center for the Book and works to encourage literacy, reading and library use in the Lone Star State. Catarina Oliveira is an illustrator and graphic designer, born in Lisbon, Portugal, but currently living in Toronto, Canada. She is a food enthusiast who loves cooking, walking in nature, storytelling, Picture books, clever logos and slow traveling around the world. She graduated as a Graphic Designer in 2005 and worked as an in-house designer for different companies until embracing Illustration as a full-time freelancer in 2014.
