Each handcrafted story was inspired by the author’s children due to the lengthy military deployments, training, and academic commitments of his military career. Charles was motivated to write Are You Watching from his own children who ensured that their dad had their undivided attention and was fully engaged with whatever they were doing together. Nothing can bring more joy to a parent’s heart than to spend meaningful time with their children.
