Synopsis
Jason Rivers is walking home after having a fun night out, where he witnesses some bad kids doing bad things. The sound of a tree branch snapping changes Jason’s life forever, those bad kids spot and seek Jason, and eventually those bad kids assault him. Four months have now passed and just when Jason is able to let what happened to him fade to the back of his mind, he makes a new friend named Kelly, and the two of them become inseparable. The closer Jason and Kelly become, the more Jason remembers from the night those bad kids did bad things to him.
Jason spends the last few months of his senior year piecing his life back together with the help of his new friend Kelly. We get to bear witness to all of the ups and downs Jason faces as he’s learning new truths about that life changing night.
