Synopsis

The teaching on the Cross of Christ has become a lost coin in contemporary Christian expositions. Teaching on the cross is overshadowed by populist topics such as prosperity, deliverance and person and group motivation. And unless something is done and done quick, today’s Christianity may drift from its foundation: The Cross of Christ. This book, At the Foot of the Cross, is an invitation for the Church to return to the Cross and to weave everything it does around the Cross, whether doctrines or practices or hopes or the eternal redemption of man. We believe that the Cross was not a snapshot of a historic event but an eternal plan, promoted from eternity past and actualised for eternity present and eternity future. That is why this book ends with the chapters on The Eternal Cross’ and The Ultimate Decision’ to respond to the Cross. You will find in the book, the simplicity of the message of the Cross, the attractiveness, sufficiency, and glory of the Cross of Christ. We welcome you to the foot of the Cross, a place where the fountain of life and pastures for your soul have been provided for before the foundation of the earth and for all of eternity.
