About the Authors

Robert S. Heaney is associate professor of Christian mission and director of the Center for Anglican Communion Studies, Virginia Theological Seminary. Heaney is also a member of the planning group for the Lambeth Conference 2020 and the author or editor of a number of articles and books including Faithful Neighbors: Christian-Muslim Vision and Practice (Church Publishing: 2016). He is a contributor to The Oxford History of Anglicanism.

John Kafwanka is former Principal of St John’s Anglican Seminary, Kitwe, Zambia and now serves as Director for Mission, Anglican Communion Office. He is co-author of David Living-stone and Christian Mission & Ecumenism Today (Scottish Episcopal Church Diocese of Glasgow, 2014), and contributed to the books Called to Unity: For the Sake of Mission (Regnum, 2014) and Life-Widening Mission: Global Anglican Perspectives (Regnum, 2012).
